If your career center staff is working remote, your probably already utilizing virtual meeting tools and live chat services. But you can also connect and collaborate within your online career services management platform as well. Here are three quick tips for virtual team collaboration: 

  • SHARE NOTES WITH OTHER TEAM MEMBERS:  When taking notes within your career services platform, save them as “Public” or “Shared” so other team members can easily review notes on recent conversations with students, alumni or employers.
  • STORE VIRTUAL MEETING INFO FOR STAFF:  Keep track of all of your staff’s contact info including virtual meeting room URLs and social networking profiles in one comprehensive database/list.
  • STORE EVERYTHING ONLINE:  Not only utilize online file sharing tools but keep track of all activity and outreach using cloud-based technology.
